Oh, the dreaded exams...

Okay, so you're up all night studying and you wake up early to get to school on time (for once) to make sure you don't miss your exam. You face two choices when you head to your closet that morning: do I look half decent, or do I go for the lazy-man look?

While you are most definitely EXHAUSTED and all you want to do is roll out of bed and head to school in your pjs, I suggest not doing that. Going to school in your sweats and sleepy clothes will make your body relax, yes, but to the extent of wanting to sleep again. You have trained yourself that comfy clothes means resting, but you cannot afford to rest with the clock ticking and with a page of definitions to remember...

What I think is the best idea for exam outfits is something comfortable but presentable. While everyone else rocks their pjs, you will be dressed to the nines by comparison, which is definitely a great feeling. Also, you will be more awake and accurate in your mind to help with the actually doing the exam part.

So here's the plan: wake up planning to spend only a little bit of time getting ready, but with some spare time to fully wake up and successfully start the day. Shower, wash your face, eat a healthy and protein-filled breakfast, like fruit, oatmeal, or a smoothie. Do your simplest make up procedure - foundation, under-eye concealer to hide the fact that you didn't sleep, and mascara to add life to your eyes. Spend a short bit off time on your hair; a quick blow dry and bobby-pin job to keep it out of your face could do the trick, or even some product to rock what your mama gave ya, with regards to hair...Then, find an outfit that suits your personality and that makes you feel good about yourself. Jeans are a safer bet than leggings or Lulus, and a cardi is a better bet than a hoodie. Here are a few outfits that I found, but it could be totally different for you.

This one is simple and feminie, with a flowy, flowery tank, a comfy cardigan, and some distressed jeans. A chain or some other bling will add to your trendiness.
The denim top in this look has that cozy worn-out feel to it, and the black jeggings give you that awesome stretchiness feeling. Rock the wavy hair and pull any bangs to the side, and add some bangles. This one is probably my personal favourite.
Cute outfit for cool weather...like the layers:)
For those of you that like to look a little more...dressy, here's a classy little outfit that's cute and practical. With black tights under a ruffle skirt, you don't have to worry much about crossing your legs. The collared shirt under the sweater gives you a sharp crispness with a cuddly warmth. The boots just top off the look while being practical (because they don't have heels:) haha!)

Lots of love, and best of luck to ya all!

Em:)
